recently purchased first of ub and the fit is tight, almost uncomfortable. I assume the material stretches out with wear but I was wondering if the stretching will be minimal or significant ???

Villa is always where I look first when buying something. Just loaded up on some BB kicks for my kids to wear this summer at crazy low prices.
The only downside, and it's a minor one, is they require a signature for delivery. But I can understand why they do, and it's not exactly a huge hassle.

Unfortunately, the stretching is minimal. The ankle area that squeezes the top of the foot isn't Primeknit, so it's not going to move much over time. I think the PK in the toe box will stretch out if it needs to, but that's not where the discomfort comes from.
Most people go with thin socks and take out the insole if the fit is too tight.

The only shoe painting Ihad ever done prior this this was a black cement 4 midsole. Its not super difficult or anything. If your looking for something to do I would say do it yourself. If you dont want to deal with buying the supplies etc send it out. The thing about doing it yourself is that you know you did it and if it gets messed up you wont ne mad about giving your money to someone when you could have done it.
Also the acetone is very important at the start. Make sure you completly rub the entire boost with some firmness. Then I put 2 coats of jet black dye then 3 coats of paint, doing it a little thicker each time. I let it dry over night just to be safe although it isnt necessary. Then I applied 2 coats of matte finisher on every nook of the shoe.

They're fine for summer. The wool UBs are only slightly warmer than the non-wools but the difference is minimal.

The customs you posted earlier have the same issue 99% of blacked out boost customs have (for me at least) and that is that even with the matte finish there is a sheen to the black boost, it almost looks wet. No offense to your handiwork, compared to other Angelus jobs I've seen it's not bad. Just not sure angelus is capable of giving a truly matte finish on the boost, at least I've never seen it done.
I've only seen 2 or 3 customs that didn't have that issue, one of them was posted by a member in here and he had used a fabric marker from Michaels to do it, haha. Surprisingly they looked great, but seems like it wouldn't last well. Curious how those are holding up.

Yeah the matte finisher does leave a bit of a glare but it is a tad more dull then the typical acrylic finisher. Im fine with the "glare" on feet it looks fine imo. Yeah I would be interested to see those as well. Even when he initially did it. I missed it. And if it held up or not....game changer if it did lol I just might strip these down and do that.
