Just watched this vid on youtube for the Haven release last week in Vancouver. Pretty cool to see Haven actually review their security footage and kick out the vast majority of morning line cutters/jumpers. I know this ain't how it goes down in most FCFS releases (especially in NYC) but it's cool to see the store do something. Even if their online release was a joke!

On another note the Haven's are growing on me but I ain't copping at resale. The fact that people are paying prices near the 1.0 Triple Black is astonishing since those are far superior imo. Guess that limited stock + collab hype is doing its job.

That in Toronto. They kicked out some people, but not all 30+ people that cut in line.

To the user that said livestock you're correct.

Someone wanted to toss the chairs but was talked out of it. I suggested that we moved ahead of the empty chairs, what would they do fight us all? Surprisingly, not many people wanted to take action. I wasn't there earlier when the resellers confronted people that stood in line first since the chairs were empty; but based on that confrontation it didn't seem like these were rational people.

We showed the manager photos of the empty chairs, and a girl explained the scenario how her boyfriend had been waiting since 5AM and no-one was around. The manager kept saying that it's out of her hands and there's nothing she could do. "It was a surprise drop, I don't even know how all these people found out" lmao yeah right.
That's why you need to speak up. Someone local posted he was able to force his way into the store and the manager let him and 4 other people come inside to get a pair. But even then, they were offered a Size 8.5 and a 11 as the resellers got all the pairs.

Yesterday was a busy Saturday with nice weather. What were these resellers going to do? Beat you guys up if you spoke up? I'm not saying go get beat up over a pair of shoes, but these "resellers" were a bunch of kids. Most people lining up in Toronto seem to be Asian and not physically big, but even those kids pose no threat if you spoke up.

This was one of the line cutters, this guy poses zero physical threat.

Aww, my bad. Thought it was the Vancouver location for some reason. Haven't been in T-dot for a long time and never visited Haven before.

Thanks for the additional info btw. If the resellers were kids like the guy you linked, I'd have caused a scene/forced my way in and try to limit or prevent that dude and his homies to leave with little to nothing if possible. Seriously, look at this crap. That's probably like 60% of the location's stock if not more. I'm not sure how much these kids are paying the Livestock employees to backdoor but I doubt it's worth Livestock losing their consortium status or getting social media famous for backdooring.

Btw, that picture can be used as evidence against Livestock (in addition to pictures people in line took of employees backdooring).

Edit: Just peeped the Toronto thread. Looks like the Livestock fiasco is linked to some well known GTA reseller and consignment shop (buying product for their store). It's a group of people and they do this **** consistently at Haven/Livestock. I assume it's the case at other Canadian boutiques like NRML, OTH, Capsule & Sole Stop too.

And yea I'm not saying I'm a toss tough guy or anything but if I see that happening I'm going straight to the front of the line **** that

Btw, that picture can be used as further evidence to support your case.

Another NTer in the Toronto thread said he contacted Livestock staff (A Vancouver manager) and Adidas Corporate. Unfortunately, I think that both of these things were just wasted time. There isn't enough reason other than business ethics that would stop them from doing this. It's shady as hell but they ultimately want this (The hype and insane desire to get a pair is what Adidas/Livestock want). The next release will be the same thing.

I feel the same way as you though. I wouldn't camp/line up for a pair of sneakers but that chair bull$hit is total crap. I would be throwing every chair out of the way. Maybe there are unspoken "rules of camping" but thats exhibit A right there in terms of problems. The logical way to do it is that only people physically standing in line hold a place. After that, a detailed list of the exact order needs to be made with first and last name. That way, line budders and re sell scammers would not be able to thrive...Because obviously people will need to go get food/ use the bathroom so it's not logical to expect people to be chained to the spot with a noose or something. They need to make the list the top priority in waiting lines like that.

So there's fault on both the people lining up for not even making barely any effort to police the line, and the store owners who are just greedy and money hungry and truly don't give a $hit about the fairness or ethics of the situation.

The demand feeds the reseller game. Can't be stopped, unfortunately. The only way is to do a local raffle, but not many places are willing to do that.

True. Contacting Livestock/Adidas may just be a waste of time in the long run but I certainly think bad publicity on social media may be a decent alternative as wuchi noted. Imagine if someone forced their way in physically into the store yesterday and started filming the backdooring in person. Sure, you might be physically escorted out eventually (not sure how liberal Canada is on that) and banned from the store but that video and evidence would probably go viral on social media. Livestock would be forced to respond if the negative publicity got large enough. Livestock only has 4 locations across Canada right? Something like this would hit them a lot harder than one FTL store across the US going viral.

Did you not see what happened with the KAWS in-store raffle in Miami?

Re-sellers paid any "bum/homeless person" $100 who won the raffle. So there would be re-sellers with like 10 of these guys with raffle tickets in addition to them.

 that was funny, someone in the kaws thread said someone with no shoes won the raffle

There's no question that the raffles are rigged half the time. Back dooring and fixing the raffles is so common now it's disgusting. The amount of Reigning Champ and Haven Ultra Boosts on my local Craigslist style website is nuts. Makes it clear that 3/4 did not purchase to own/wear them. Everyone out here is a dirty reseller now.

A lot of those pics from a couple of pages back I have in hand snaps of that never made it to my IG.

Here is the Pink EQT Glitch I snapped in February:

That Mustard Iniki sweet ******* lord, that color in a 1.0 UB , having an orgasm just thinking about it (sunday morning joke haha)

When did it sell out? Did it update as sold out (sold out in stores...)?  Was out all day and assumed I missed the drop.
there were 2 links. Everyone was monitoring that 1 page that they had up the whole time where the product said coming soon. Meanwhile during a random time, they dropped it on a different page/link (one you posted up). So basically they had a dummy link/page up I guess for all the bots to wait on that. But I'm sure bots still picked up the new link.

this was the dummy link everyone monitored

and this is the link that the shoes were actually sold at

I'm late but I just got my first pair of ultra boosts. Mystery grey 3.0s. Sz 9 and I have about a half inch of room between my toes and the front of the shoe. But they are snug on the width. Should I return for an 8.5 or would they be too tight? I have kinda wide feet.

lol I wonder what teddy, who's bashed JB for releasing the same stuff over and over, will say about this one

I do have to say that I love that heel cup
I'm wondering if Adidas is moving towards that material because it will hold up better and not get scuffed.
I wonder what material it's made of, looks almost 3D printed

adidas is going overboard with 3.0 triple black models.  Many other 3.0 colors seem forced as well.  Where was the experimentation when 1.0 pattern was around?

have a question about women to mens sizing, is it always 1 size up for sure? my friend went to adidas store to get the rc collab, he usually wears 10.5 men, he said the 11 fits slightly big. he has wide feet too. the rep told him with women shoes, after the sizing get too high of a number, its almost 1 to 1 in terms of women to men.....is there any truth to this?
