So I have the rainbow which are pk and I have a red/black pair that are mesh. I find the pk to be more rigid and mesh to be more giving. My mesh actually seem to have stretched a tad. My experience seems opposite

Yeah man, couldn't be further from pk. They're "mesh" in the sense that everything not pk kind of gets lumped into that category. You're right though, they're really their own thing.
