Question to those who are ever so curious about total numbers....

What does it do for you? Besides secretly gauging resell for the pairs you will be trying to sell?

I tend to like to get a sense of the numbers to get a sense of the size of allocation .... i expect a bell curve to the size distribution and if the total number allocation is small then likewise i know the 8/8.5 i'm looking for will be few and far between AND that I might want to trade my way from a more readily available size to my desired size. with only 12K in the original release of these coupled through just two primary distribution channels (ADC and YS) I was able to rightly stay away from the release -- had I thought the release was bigger I would have spent untold time and resources trying to get a pair.
