Going to what you said bro... When I tried to check out i was paying $400 with tax and shipping anyway. So my mindset is completely different from Nike release where it was $100 cheaper. So paying 1k isnt as bad if that makes sense lol...
love hearing these resell price success stories.
but this is proving my point.
every one of us who dropped that resell $ at the time was likebut we did it because we wanted the shoe.
if you want these boosts as bad as some of you are complaining day in and say out just drop the money. the happiness of the purchase will be worth it if youre one of those people beating youself up over this release.
maybe some of these posts will help most of you realize that no matter how many pairs you think will be available, a lot of people had no choice but to just pay resell for that yeezy shoe.
some of you sound like you feel like a victim of the resell market when youre clearly not alone if you go ahead with it .
Then we'd still be paying 1k+ so it really doesnt matter lol...These aren't even worth retail. Should've been 180
But they're not.These aren't even worth retail. Should've been 180
didn't they close down?i interned at a small boutique in downtown frederick in the dmv area called social studies that dropped the yeezy 1s, got a pair for retail.
not saying you, but people REALLY underestimate the amount of LUCK it takes to get a Kanye shoe for retail.
If its something you really want youre going to have to pay over retail but finding a good price.
i got the zen grey yeezy 1s the day they dropped. and i paid some kid $420 walking out of the door with them. retail was $215 at the time.
i got the boosts the day they dropped/were picked up. i paid some kid $700 for them.
sounds so corny, but yeezys are really close to a stock. you have to jump on a good price and almost put in your mind youll never get them for that "suggested" retail, unless you are very lucky or have connections that youve spent a good amount of money over time to acquire.
Is the Adidas store in Chi (Gold Coast) getting these next week? Will they be doing it through the App?
No I called yesterday.
**** making me think they're not dropping in the U.S besides the boutiques that are doing raffles and or backdoor sales.
Thought I was the only one here that thought tihis, but I also don't like any of this other Yeezys. This is the only pair I like, I don't like the lows either. I like high fashion sneakers and these fit the bill.
I think the 750 boost looks better than the Yeezy 1s, I like how Kanye went for a more high fashion look.

Sounds like a good deal to me. The chepaest I've seen on eBay is a buy it now price of $1,050 but that was a size 13.
A reputable guy wants to sell me his pair for $900 shipped. Thoughts from NT?
Do it! No hesitation i will pay 900 now to get a pair

anything under 1k is something short of a steal.

Maybe there is. Maybe there wont.
The hypebeast is strong with y'all in here.
Acting like here won't be another release
I am no hype beast, I don't have a single pair of Nikes or Adidas in my closet. I'm just going off of current market value. Would I pay over $400? No, but that's doesn't mean the shoes aren't valued at over $400.
