I'm pretty sure all the pairs that were available have already been distributed, and I really don't see anymore pairs hitting outlets after june 1st.
well, i'm not buying the 1500-2000 pairs or the burning of the rest of the pairs.  time will tell, of course.  one thing nike knows how to do is create buzz for a shoe.  i'm betting on more pairs than people think.  it's all about money and this is a way for them to cash in even more.  i'm not convinced on the 1500-2000 pairs, but we shall see.

Why would Nike release a ton of the "B grade" version, if they still plan to release the "Black X" version?  It would kill the opportunity for them to move there "true release" of the black X  as a GR.  I believe the 5,500 number.  Wholeheartedly.

not necessarily.  for collecting purposes, people might want to pick up both versions.  plus, the regular public won't know about the outlet release and they will be willing to buy the version with the black X.  also, nike has released black/red versions close together before.  nothing really surprises me with them.

The employees can cop as many as they want but they not getting em all. I know at least 5 people going up to mass with 5 people each... so you do the math they will prob come back with 30 pair.. thats enough

Someone's math is off. And it's mine

I'll be there around 10. Hopefully they still got some sizes left. Surprised Marysville,WA is getting these...

^
that pretty much sums it up

I went to the great mall and asked a worker he said they weren't getting them, then he said Niketown in SF was....Yeah I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what he's talking about.

So Woodbury and Jersey Gardens are the only spots near nyc getting these? Wonder which one will be easier to try to pick up a pair at...

exactly, there are a lot of people who DONT know about this release because they buy all of their Jordans from the mall, are not on NT/ forums, or who check the blogs, so JB/ stores will have no problem selling those IMO.

Marysville is a top 5 Nike store lol.  They push some crazy numbers sales wise.  But here is the deal with them:
First come first serve, no discounts, if they get mall approval, they will open early, but it's not looking like that's going to happen.  And here's my favorite part: only 5% of the shoes are raffled off to the employees.  There will be total 111 pairs sold to the public.  Good luck you guys.  Hope to see some of you all there

And mall security is extremely strict there, so i really doubt people will be waiting all night for these.  Maybe hit up the casino next door

when does the door open anyways?

I'm in Memphis during the release so looks like I'll be trading some kicks for these. I refuse to pay over retail on any shoe but I'll trade my !+* off.

I called the Castle Rock Nike Outlet near Denver, CO today. The sales rep told me they're not getting these...has anyone else in the Denver area been told the same????
