I was 14 when the 1’s came out so I can say I’ve lived thru them all. Luckily got 2 pair off SNKRS but this is ridiculous that it’s this hard to get a pair of shoes that you actually want to wear and enjoy. We‘ve said for 15 years the hype would die down but it hasn’t. What makes it worse is 15 years Ago atleast the majority were buying to wear, resellers have ruined it.

Agreed about the hype never dying down,since the material on the Sb 3.0 is all crinkled up,the way I look at it is I’m gonna wear the hell outta them,because if they were created with smooth patented material,they’re gonna end up looking how the first day u gotta em anyway,idk jus sayin.Glad you got some pairs to wear ?

My dumbass got to the mall at about 10:45, get in line at Nike just before 11am and I'm looking at my phone and it says pass expired all of the sudden. I think to myself that's weird because usually it's till 5PM but it's been a while. Thankfully screenshotted the pass so I could look at it and sure enough it was 8am-11am. I got lucky because they honored anyone that was in line before 11 so I got it but wow that would have sucked lol.

Keeping in all the way real with y’all, I absolutely thought I would hate these in person, since I hated the pics once it was confirmed to be patent leather, still disappointed about that, but to be honest, & I’m not capping I kinda dig them in hand. & I know how that sounds & hate when people say that, but they’re just the right amount of different & my kinda ugly ?? the leather is nowhere near as stiff as I pictured & the sole will be gross after the 1st wear. Also I’m a true size 10, but a always have a tiny bit of room in my 1s, so I .5 size down in all my patent Jordan’s, 1s & 11s. That was absolutely the right call, all in all I think this was a surprisingly good release, because my expectations were underground ??‍??
