damn what a difference 7 years makes I paid $325.00 each for 2 pairs before release date for myself and the stores I got them from sold out

ended up getting 10 pairs of size 8.5 and 9 sold them all myself on craigslist for $325.00 each

now in 2019 you can’t make nowhere near that on a $220.00 shoe at box price

back then before apps and other b.s.I sold everything myself no one to give a cent of my money to now it’s a ****zshowz

it’s not worth reselling these unless you can get $80-$90 a pair at a quick flip and you don’t have to grease anybody’s palm

I'm flipping my pair tommorow to my boy for 290 paid 210 after military discount. I'll rebuy these when prices tank late December. I love the shoe but got to be smart. I never let emotion drive my material things....If I can make 80 now and rebuy em for say 180 means my pair only cost me 100. I deploy this technique alot. Probably why I have so many shoes and ain't a broke boi.

That ankle crease on the first wear ruins them. Newer XIs last 3 years seem to be thicker up top.

Same exact thing I thought...All that stuff was just a pain in the *** to deal with...Was just window dressing to distract buyers from the shoddy quality of the shoes...

The evolution of Marketing...how do you expect a retro of the same shoe to keep selling out almost instantly. Even those who had the previous releases will keep buying the new release bc of that new accessory and or bc of the shoe.

In this case it's the Hi cut PL and box.

I myself will prob grab x3 and be done til the next drop of these in 10 yrs. Lol
