2011 was a disgrace

After what I went through to get them, agreed. They weren't worth all that hassle. Joints looked off and also felt like bricks.

That day was that last time I have ever attempted to get any sneaker on release day instore (without a reserve). NEVER AGAIN.

Hahaha! Some of you guys are complaining just to complain now. Was the 2000 pair trash now also?

People want to talk about “bricks” and “quality issues” that looks to be the problem with the 2018 pair. Especially if they’re making a million plus pairs of the shoe.

I didn’t see anything wrong with the 2011 pair. The cut was perfect - to me. If anyone wants to complain about the patent leather cut on a AJ11, it should be the 2009 space jams. That was a travesty!!!

But pics below show that there is no difference in the 2011 pair compared to the 2000 pair...

I understand what you're trying to do, and if you didn't see any problem with the 2011 pair, that's fine. But for me, there is a noticeable difference in the two pairs. Posting pics to show PL height isn't the main issue. The PL quality is worse. PL has a tendency to look foggy and scratched, but on older pairs, that shows up after a good amount of wear. On the 2011 Concords, for me, I noticed the PL getting a little foggy after my 3rd-4th wear or so. And when I did wear them, it wasn't for a long time. I also noticed that the PL on the 2011 pair creases a lot faster than previous PL. I'm basing my observation off of the previous versions of XI's that I own. I didn't understand how shoes that I've owned for 10+ years with good amounts of wear, show better quality than a pair I had with 5 years or so that was NDS. I'm not a nitpicking person, nor was the quality on the 2011 concords enough for me to get mad and sell them. I just didn't think they were worth the price with the given quality. I'll just wear them first and wear the versions I think are better a bit later.
