Air Jordan 12 – Black – Gamma Blue

It doesnt matter anyway........As soon as the time comes, the website shuts down or when you try an add them to the cart, they come up with an error, lol

there's a dude out there that has a bot...and he had the WTK8 added to cart about 7 hrs before the Eastbay release.

The associated Twitter accounts acted like they knew nothing about it.

This is why you can never add to cart. And the servers cant handle 250K+ traffic.

I honestly feel like Nike should be the only place to buy online unless these other places fix their servers.

When did bots become the "thing"

Sorry new here but people use/buy programs to add sneakers to their carts? This **** actually works? lols what?

Whatever happened to just ordering online or going to a store. Everything is so stupid these days with raffles and whatnot. annoying.

Best chance would be nike.com.

There will be bots, but eastbay/champs/footlocker is just stupid, and I've never had any success with either of those.

Finishline is also a good choice if you don't mind having like a $1,000 charge on your credit card for about a week.

You never know about JJ, Lebron Corks that was a classic fiasco
That JJ Cork fiasco was definitely a classic......had everyone on the edge of their seats, even their chat rep confirmed they were still releasing them online.  Then "sorry all the corks mistakenly got shipped to another JJ store location"

Here's the short answer.

Online releases are controlled by "robots" that sniff out Nike Twitter links and open them before most people see the tweets. Some of them add to the cart immediately. On Eastbay/FTL/FTA/Champs, they all have the same inventory. The bots have the shoes purchased BEFORE the countdown timers show the shoes are available. On Finishline, people find ways to bypass the SPA page, and since its so overloaded with traffic, some people sit on that SPA page (virtual line) for 1 to 3 hrs.

In store: Guaranteed tickets are given out to family and friends before the general public. Raffles are rigged so family and friends get picked. Employees also hold shoes for friends.

The reason for all of this is due to extreme hype that is generated by online pics of celebrities. Everyone wants to become a reseller and have a "business" instead of a job. Everyone thinks they can buy a $170 shoe and double their money. These kids buy the shoes on credit cards hoping to flip them and if they can't they're stuck.

This is why on most release days shoes in store you can't return them because the stores KNOW what people are doing, or trying to do.

If this ever stops, you'll notice that you can actually go and buy the shoes like normal people. Everyone wants to be the person with the new hot shoes.

Some shoes don't get the same amount of hype so Nike doesn't promote them as much, stores don't do raffles and they sit in stores for a couple of days or so.

Thanks for the explanation. But doesn't Nike or whoever know people are using these programs? Why won't they block them from doing it?

I need these gamma 12s, but Im going to pass JUST incase friday something miraculous happens

. What do you think the resell price will be on these next week?

I dont think they care, as long as they're getting paid. If it was credit scams or some kind of fake money scheme, then they wouldnt get paid and that would cause them react asap.

also, everyone who was involved in the gamma 11 thread that wants these, the "origin" bypass appears to still work.. just a heads up
