For the squeaky issue I usually use a thin amount of petroleum jelly for the tongue and baby powder for the insole if it happens there. Whatever works I guess lol

things to look for on fakes:

short tongue

holes on tongue extend to the bottom lace hole (though the OGs are like this, the retros only start after the first lacehole)

again, the lacing style. I know this can be manipulated, but the laces are supposed to be laced lateral over medial, and the laces go through the tongue loop on the 4th hole

Kickscrew pair. I know there was questions about them selling legit kicks so these look good? Havnt heard too many people talking bout copping from them. Could've copped on release day but passed... that extra $50 hurt but looks like that $250 plus taxes is holding steady on stockx
Also there's no stamp or sticker inside the box is that something they do in china?

Woo hoo I finally received my shoes today from FTA almost a month later. I was able to place an order on release day and they were shipped out 2 days after the release day but apparently there was some kind of mix up at the post office. But yes I finally got em been wanting to own these since 98, then missed out on the retroed ones too.

Not really. They were shipped UPS Sure post and thus get transferred to USPS. Apparently the package might have been dropped off at the wrong post office because the label might have had the wrong zipcode. Then apparently they sent the package to yet another post office. I called and emailed USPS and Footaction many times but USPS couldn’t seem to locate the package.
