How's the leather on them and on the toe?

The leather on them is better than I expected and feels fine. No paint flaws or anything on my pair. Suede on toe is on point. Comfort and stability are there as well. Suede on toes feels like playoff 8s. Forgot that the heel is rubber and feels and looks like a basketball which is pretty cool I think.

i haven't had a j retro bring me this much joy in a while, can't see why people are passing on these hopefully i can get my paper up & buy another pair! 

I think it's the age that separates those who feel these and those that don't.

At 35 myself the 14 was the last sig shoe I bought and I didn't even care for it that much, a lot of Jordans lovers my age stop at the 13. Those in that 5-15 age group when these dropped LOVE them.

I was 14...I remember falling in love with them when I saw a preview ad in an Inside Stuff magazine. I coudnt afford them at the time but I made sure I get them now.

Without a doubt the highest quality releases were the Cigar and Champagne pack and the Spizike 6.

me too. one of the only releases i ever wanted and didnt get because i was clueless to how the sneaker game worked.
