the entire retro line is played out. that said, the 2012 black/cement retro is vastly inferior to the 1999, and no rationalization can be made otherwise.Because its 2012 and 99s are PLAYED OUT

How does a FedEx customs fee look?
I may be the first to report getting hit with customs fee from SH on the Bred IVs for one pair...
There's a slim in my package titled "COMMERCIAL INVOICE"
Had one pair from SH shipped Monday without it, but one pair today with it.
It says 65.00 so rather SH lies about the value or I got charged a $65 fee?
Anybody else's tracking number from finishline not updating? Getting a little worried here.
This package is in the mail at least. At this point FNL can't tell you they are out of shoes and your order is canceled. USPS/FedEx/UPS can't scan the package in until the package is there. I order a lot of things that get mailed to the house and the "days left" countdown is almost aways accurate in a case like yours. I don't know what caused it to not get scanned at the next place, but it will most likely get there in 1 more day. In my experience at least. Hopefully in your case as well. Getting the shoes out of FNL's hands is the difficult partsame here
my last update
Departed - Indianapolis, IN, United States, Monday, 11/26/2012
it hasnt updated since the 26th but it says i got 1 day left til delivery
not sure what to think

Yeah, i think if anything, the maintenance is prolly why i'm repulsed to wear them.I have to disagree with you on the white cement 3's and true blue statement. I doubled up on both of them and I'm glad. Its going to be a long time till they release the TB3 again. It also depends on how much you wear them. My white cements 3 are probably worn more frequently than any other pair of my J's.
I also think black is better, that is why I haven't bought any white J's since the 3's.
Here is another video bringing up some interesting differences between this and other 4s from this year..including the whole sizing issue. Hear I provide actual proof that these run bigger than both the cavs 4s and the military 4s. Sizing comparison starts at about 1:00
lol....what?
um....i'm not really what you're getting at. Why would it matter where they came from? It's a U.S. size 9. All the shoes are made in China. What does Europe have to do with any of this?
Alright, my FNL pair came today, so for spOOfy and anyone else interested in some comparisons pics with an early release pair here you go - lemme know if you got any questions or whatever, but it actually turned out to be pretty uninteresting, which is a good thing.
I got my early release pair in late October from Sol3society. Shoes came straight from China. i posted a lot of pictures and a lengthy examination of the quality way back then, so Im not gonna go into all the details, just the minor differences I guess. (but there really werent any)
First up, the boxes. This was actually the only place with a real difference. The MSRP sticker on the side had slight difference in the exact layout. Probably means nothing but I thought Id post it up. SS box on top

Heres the two pairs together. Sol3society in front. Shape is basically identical to my eyes. FNL actually came with a very small scuff. Ive been wearing my SS pair a lot so you can see that the nubuck has been holding up pretty well
http://niketalk.com/content/type/61/id/149331/width/500/height/1000[/IM]
Close up of SS. The ashiness is more from wearing them around, not how they looked brand new
http://niketalk.com/content/type/61/id/149332/width/500/height/1000[/IM]
Close up of FNL. Cleaner, but quality of the nubuck is identical to the touch. You can also see slight variations in the angle of the stitching, up by the netting. Its actually superior on the SS pair above
http://niketalk.com/content/type/61/id/149333/width/500/height/1000[/IM]
FNL on right. Size of heel cut is the same, cant see it here but there has been no sign of cracking paint on the SS. Also the black paint on the midsole of the FNL was a little thin, and you could see a small lighter colored streak about a half inch long

Together, FNL in front

The production dates were interesting though.
On my SS pair the dates were 6/13-6/28, on my FNL the dates for the Right shoe were 5/9-6/22 and the Left shoe was 5/9-6/20
So ironically, my early release pair from SS was actually made later than the release day FNL pair. Go figure
I cant speak for everybody, but it seems like early release buyers avoided any kind of air randy fiasco this time around. In general, this release seems to have been done to a reasonably high level by JB standards. Im very pleased with both my pairs
Good looking out. Repped for your troubles. I guess it is a hit or miss with these early release pairs.
Fortunately for you, you got a good pair.
I got GOT on my concords from last Christmas on an early release site. I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference had I not obtained a release date pair.
not bad, a lil ashy but can't complain. dont have the previous releases.
