The current strategy Jordan brand is using right now is only a problem for people that care about having something that other people don't. Resell culture =/= sneaker culture. Even though some people think they're involved in one when in actuality it's the other that they're following. As far as quality goes what other massed produced trendy shoe are you getting in the retail $160-220 range in 2017 that's giving you quality that is more than moderately better? Not saying this is the case for anyone here but a lot of people are being disingenuous if they're saying they're not buying JB for the quality and the price increase. Fact of the matter is quality is absolutely up for most releasss going from 2009-2014 super hyped era when resell on GRs was 250 atleast and every release sold out. And not only that there are more releases, at more places, in MUCH higher quantities. No more preorders, no more backdooring, no more paying resell. It has never been easier in the past 10 years to grab a newly released pair of air Jordan's than it is today. Nike did that. That alone is worth paying the extra 30-40 bucks in retail. I think those using the cost/quality excuse every single drop aren't really interested in the brand or shoes to begin with. Real sneakerheads are copping with ease with a big a** smile on their faces and I guarantee Nike knows exactly what they're doing. They're not "over" producing. For a brand like JB more pairs made = more money made point blank
