I feel the same as the person you quoted,within reason.Some people like myself live in a smaller metropolitan area that don’t receive hyped releases.I’ll try the online route or put in raffles if they release through the mobile app(state st) and drive 4-5 hours if necessary.I understand some people won’t consider resale,however their are others who truly appreciate the shoe and the only option is resale besides moving on which I don’t intend on doing.
