Beyond wild if they added some top coat of white to make the lines stand out so much. It's like gdamn, all most of us wanted were the exposed gray (not white) edges that occurred naturally when the material was cut. Yeah, I took a gray pencil to my 2019 IVs to get the look, but I always thought the guys actually painting the edges were doing the wrong thing in terms of an OG appearance. So of course JB sees this and decides to do it straight from the factory and over-exaggerate the whole thing (if that's what's truly been done here)
That said, I always thought 3M edges was a terrible and tacky idea, so between the two I'd be more likely to buy this version without 3M lines. But then they went and made the NA on the heel a non-stitched reflective piece for no good reason. I could overlook that and get over it, but this release is just an entirely bizarre creation. The heel NA is really the only thing reimagined about them. The lines aren't reimagined other than the process by which JB is achieving them and how prominent they appear. Like, either REIMAGINE the damn things or just leave them alone and release them in OG form.
