We are waaaay overdue for remastered Charcoals. Hoping we get them next year it’s probably my fav 7 tied with Bordeauxs. The 2012 pair wasn’t bad, had a decent shape but the charcoal panels were too dark. I passed since that was back during my hiatus. Definitely ready for these.

The 2012's are awful. Nothing like the OG.

I know the panels and toebox were too dark, they were totally black instead of dark charcoal . What else was off about them besides shape? I know the shape on newer 7’s is an improvement but still not quite og. It’s been a long time since I had the og’s though. Either way we need these again.

I was in on this shoe from Day 1 and I'm still in after seeing them in person. In person, the pods look more like a "smoked" black/dark grey (reminiscent of Stealth Foams) than dark green.
Unless, you simply don't like black and/or purple, anybody who likes "Raptor" VII (2012 version) should in theory like Ray Allen's VII.
Of course, I'll wait for a slight discount but I'd have no problem paying retail for these.
