No he's a real deal sneaker fiend. I've seen interviews where he showed some of his favorite sneakers and he was pullin out some crazy SB's. That same interview showed him and Don C hooping and he was in a pair of OG aqua 8's.

Those weren't OG aqua 8s.

The first one was locked because of a gif war,
The second, was locked because the official thread was made at the same time.
The third was locked because a bunch of people were trying to buy/sell in there.

The first royal thread became a flame war because of people dissing each other for liking kanye or not.
