I don't think I'll be buying any other IV's that aren't OG's unless they fix the shape etc.

Curious how you feel about the 2016 White Cement 4?

dudes really got they panties in a bunch and tried to argue me down yesterday, but for anyone who has both, it's very clear to see the upper material they used on the '19s is nowhere near as durable as the '12s. these new 4s are super thin and flimsy like I said yesterday. they look cool, but quality is not there. how dudes can really argue this is beyond me, which is how I know none of those dudes who were so adamant about disagreeing with me have '12s!

this material seems more like a mix between the 2012s & CDP’s more than anything.

CDP’s looked nice but were somewhat flimsy & 2012s were stiff but godawful to look at.

definitely not close to ‘99 as much as they wanna try & pass it off to be

Back at it again the whole next day I see lol. You’re a joke. I have those trash ‘12s and currently debating the best way to get rid of that garbage. Taking up space now. So to you, durabuck is thin and flimsy? I think it just feels like it should feel. You must have hated the ‘89, ‘99s and CDP then since those used durabuck too. You are saying they’re the GOAT if you think they’re so “durable” and better than the ‘19. Hell by that measure you can say the ‘12 is more durable than all other iterations of this shoe. No other version has that thick, hard, hairy, ashy boot style nubuck material that the ‘12s have. So yeah, you’re basically saying they are the best version end all be all if you think that’s what make them better than the ‘19. Because none of the other versions’ material has that “quality” of the ‘12 that you apparently hold in such high regard.

I feel better about passing on this release after reading your post. I have the ‘12s but I would only consider buying a replacement pair if it were as good as/better than the ‘99s. I barely wear my ‘12s anymore so I couldn’t really justify these.

Honestly, I find it funny how people excuse the poor shape of modern 4s in general.

Pulled them out y'day to look at them next to these and shape was poo too The best thing about WC's is the leather, paint quality/grey tone, NA, and the pair I have has a decent curve on the toe box. But man that shoe looks like gravity is bullying it.

Still like them but they could've benefited from the higher rand that the '19 BC's have.

Get my black cements from sneakrs tomorrow and the 16' White Cement is on their way. I'm too pumped for them tbh. Gonna have to take pics to compare and contrast. I definitely dont need any other IV's. Then after that it's on to dbl backing for other pairs in the Infrared VI, Black Cement III, 15' Bordeaux VII and the 15' Aqua VIII. Need the white versions of the III and VI to come out and a proper remaster of both the Jordan II colorways. I just want the white pair vs the Chicago pair for those. Then B/red 11's or Space Jams. Definitely dont want both.

For what it's worth these really brought people out. Most packed I've seen the mall since the Concord release.

I mean the only "big" Jordan release since December that would drag folks out was the Infrared 6.....so that's not saying much.

This shoe is one of the best drops from Jordan in a while. It brought out the sleeping OG heads with that sexy durabuck looks so retro.
Nike Air is definitely off centered but I can't and won't complain about it.

gonna try and destroy them this summer so by fall they'll look dirty and aged a little

May I ask who made you the fashion police? Going to church is about the message, and about faith and prayer, not who looks the best! I'm 42, and I wear dress shoes 5 days a week with my dress pants and company polo shirt (I sell cars). And my dress shoes are Dr Martin dress boots (not the chunky ones).

On Sunday, I wear my same dress pants (Savane black slacks), a collared short sleeve golf shirt and I wear sneakers. Some days it's my Chicago 1s from '94, or my Black/red 1s from 2001, my Agassi ATC IVs or even my Shaq Attaqs or others! I want to be comfortable. And guess how many people have complained about my choice in footwear? ZERO!! Our pastor says God doesn't discriminate based on fashion and we don't either. Some come in wearing jeans, or even kahki shorts. I won't wear jeans, but it's their choice and I'm 100% fine with it! Just relax on this topic. More important things in life than what others wear when it has NO BEARING on you.

Jesus wore sandals my man...it's easier to get people who are hesitant of church into church when they don't have the pressure of dressing up. As long as you show up that's all that matters. (within reason of course)
