They are mine! I just hope they aren't crap like the last ones. The paint was so horrible. Hopefully they will be on point with the latest Nike Air retros.

I mean they are technically the first black playoff Jordans he wore.
Just typically find the mold and color blocking of the 3, 4, and 5 to be somewhat boring. Besides the True Blue 3’s I should say.

Was the 7 the first shoe to not feature it after Tinker became lead designer with the 3? The 3, 4, 5, and 6 were the only ones to feature the Nike Air logo, right?

Not prominently, yes. 7-11 still had Nike Air on the insoles. The 12 had no Nike branding anywhere, ironically coming in a Nike box though. Then Jordan Brand launched with the release of the 13 late in 1997.

Right. The original 7 only had NA on the insole. It was the first time ever for the Air Jordan not to have the branding on the actual shoe itself.

Correct me if I’m wrong but of the original 8s only the playoff 8s had Nike Air branding on the insole. The White and Aquas had multiple color insoles and no Nike Air anywhere.

I hope NA stays on every shoe it was originally on. As someone in the Infrared thread pointed out, the Jumpman being on the heel is redundant.
