Looks like the quality control on the toe boxes might not be as bad on these as the previous 85s.. I’ve seen a few with uglier toes but not nearly as many as the previous colorways.

this shoe has proven to me that Nike can do retros right, these are so much better than a normal retro. even the rubber feels way thicker and more solid. they come with nice poly insoles too.

In terms of Jordan 1 85’s these fit nicer that the reverse breds and have better shape and slightly softer leather (although still stiff).

I’d go as far as saying these are easily the best 85 J1 to drop. If you like Jordan 1s then make them a priority!

After these and the chi’s later this year, these are going to moon

Theres so many colorways Jb can and will do on the 85 mold its ridiculous

Then you have the idea of potential collabs

OG highs already are a killer and sell out 95% of the time
