The lead time's probably too long for other current sigs like Kobes and Lebrons. This V was about 2 years in the making. New models aren't finalized that far in advance and they don't want to risk these things leaking out ahead of time. They're still holding off on retroing, too.
Why so limited? More flexibility and control. This is the first I've seen leak ahead of the big official unveiling. The DBs tend to be way more detailed and have more special materials. They're a testbed for new techniques. The DB Jordans have brought us stuff like new ways to print uppers, more extensive lasering, new clear soles, new materials, different kinds of 3M, etc. I'm not sure they could handle mass producing this stuff even if they wanted to

I'd love to get my hands on a pair of these, but it seems like it'd be easier to beat Jesus in an arm wrestling match. I hate these limited releases, I have no clue what a bot is, and no connect. It sucks that by 8:03am if you don't have $700 to throw away on a pair of sneaks, you're not copping.
