I hate to throw fuel on the fire but the 2000 pair here has a pretty shiny looking tongue... I still can’t wrap my head around people passing on the 2016 black metallics because the tongue..

I’ve got the 2000 one in my room right now. Idk what is wrong with that pic but it is NOT shiny. It’s the same gray color as the OG. CRAP pic.

In hindsight I regret it.

Shock drop friends who still have not gotten their order.

Hit up nike chat support, if your pair does not come by 5/4 or whatever the latest delivery date is on the email, they will give you a 20% discount on your shock drop order, so the shoes will come out to $160.

I'm one of the few who still hasn't had my pair shipped from the shock drop, and the order is still in good standing.

I had a pair of storm blue 1's that I sold and regretted it

I was able to get another pair in my size DS for I think $144 which was a great price for what they were selling for at that point

I have the 2016 black/metallic V's thought...arguably one of my favorite Jordans as it was the first pair I had dating back to 1990

Damn man really ? That's unreal because a bunch that hit on the royal toes have received their pairs already. What state are you in BTW ? I received my fire red's a few days ago and they shipped from Tennessee to Massachusetts and I went with the free standard shipping option.

You passed on Storm Blue's for $100 ??? I'd kill for a pair but really can't pay that resell. Last sale was like $550 in my size. Now the metallic black's I did pay resell for on StockX as those were a lot more managble at the time. I paid $220 for them on SX and I now see the last sale was $400 ! yikes.

Which is why I embrace the yellowing. The gradual transition of the netting on the sides and the tongue add a level of contrast I don't mind.

Same boat as you. No updates on my shock drop pair, Saturday’s snkrs pair has a date of 5/20. All I know is at least my pair from fnl has shipped and should be here someday. Yeah progress!
