Left that mall and winded up at northwest mall to a packed line. Made us stand in the line all this time to tell us they had no mens sizes whatsoever liaaaaaaaaaaaaaaars. I had to get the 411 so I snuck into Palis Royal burnt off from the cops(not mall cops) and ran into the manager eating in the lobby. Asked him were the sold out of a size 14 in mens and he told me no. I went into footaction and he brought my size to the front paid for them and the !**+ at the register wasnt paying attention and rung me up for 2pairs one in men and one in infants and told me they were non returnable ******%%t. Secured my pair and went to another footaction at another mall and returned them and they put the money back on my card. This release was hectic but like i said before the release "many will enter few will win"

lol, that boy said bring the drama, houston is always crazy, never again will i camp for shoes in that city though, 11/12 pack opened my eyes to how shady these stores/people is

Yeah, Houston is crazy shady. My brother sat outside for the 11/12 in  northline for 14 hrs and was the first person to ask for a 12 and they were sold out. I would bet that HOH Galleria still has pairs left. I hate HOH Galleria. I will never spend a dime in there or any shoe store in the city except from store where the guy gives it to me straight.
 
I love working at a Shoe store!! I copped 3 pairs. He had dudes lining up at lie 12am for the 8am release. Straight got there at 7:45 copped 3x but ended up selling one on the spot. (Wasnt my intention, its just $300 is hard to pass up)

Houston is a big hood. The managers at most sneaker stores act like bunch of Kingpins and the employee are rude and arrogant. Only stores I like are Footlocker, Flnish Line and Champs at Memorial City. Every other store in the city I hate. For Retro AJ XIs I always cop online. Something about XIs bring out the worst in people here in Houston.

The only downside is that you work at a shoe store, and unless you the manager, you're making close to minimum wage.  Sort of offsets the discount... assuming it's not your (part-time) second job.  I would be BROKE if I were in your position.

Now that I think about it, all these cats who work at the fnl/footlocker/champs etc are the ones driving up the price, limiting the stock and making it harder to copp, it's so easy for them to pick up multiple pairs, and because they make no money of course they going to try and re-sell.  smh.

Finishline.com came thru for me...my 2 pairs are being delivered today! Was also able to pick up 1 pair in town - so happy...you never know with Finishline
 
my pair arrived. Wish the sewn on patch on the tongue were both in the same location. Seems like one is like slightly higher than the other. It's not that noticeable but it's noticeable enough for me to be a lil upset.

I hear you.  I have a part-time social-worker job, that's what I love to do.  But I also have a full-time pay job, which isn't a bad job, but I'd rather be mentoring than dealing with drunk people.  Gotta get those stacks though, you know what I mean?

I love sneakers like everybody here but I'd be struggling working full-time at a shoe store. I tried to get a part-time job at a Nike store just to get a swoosh account and the punk !*! HR chick told me I was too qualified to unload trucks. I wanted to choke her.
 
got my 2 pairs in from NDC. they came thru. def appreciate the overnnite shipping.

i kept on that site for over 2 hours with the MANY crashes and tax errors. well worth it in the end.
