Wore the blue ones today. Pretty comfortable. At first I was worried about the snug fit, but with my semi-wide feet getting my normal size was fine. Just discovered the heel-pull tab in the back :lol:
I would probably get another pair (outlet price). Hopefully that hoodie goes on sale. :pimp:
 
Has ANYBODY seen the XX8 shorts in person or actually pulled the trigger on them? I'm not dropping that much on shorts but i'm interested regardless.

I'm curious as well. I remember the 2011 shorts being $100 and after waiting for a bit and buying them with the playa discount for $25 I realized they came with an inside compression short. Still not worth $100 but JB never disclosed this in the item description not could I see them in person. I wonder if anywhere does actually have them. Maybe a Niketown? Same goes for the hoody. Looks dope.

I saw them at my HOH. They had only 3 pairs. A medium, large, and xl. They also had 3 of the hoodies. I looked at them and there was nothing special. They had a xx8 t shirt too. It cost $40! Smh
 
They can keep that.

Why would they NOT post that compression shorts were inside it? That's seriously dumb. I don't know who these product specialists are that write listing for products but it has been seriously lacking lately.
 
Yeah the shorts are definitely not worth it. I saw them on release day and thought it was a joke lol. They are super super thin damn near like cloth. I work out a lot; I'll invest a lot in shorts if they are good but the most I'd pay for these is 45 ish.

These hit perfectly just past the knee and run more fitted/less casual. The materials feel really light, breathable, and just plain luxurious, especially the pockets and waist.

The jacket also has a great fit, close to the Olympic 3M jacket. The details are pretty neat, like the removable hood, venting, sleeves, and especially the zippers. Nike puts out $300 product with zips not nearly as nice as the the jacket and shorts'. I'm not going to defend the pricing on the shorts, but the jacket seems fine. I was surprised it wasn't more after trying it on.

They're basic designs that I feel come off as more clean and elegant than boring and simple.

I'm still not sure how I feel about having paid full price for the shorts but I do like them quite a bit. Definitely better than Nike's other bball shorts, not 3-4x better.

Saw electric green Jordan socks to go with the shoes, $18 most expensive socks I've seen yet. Should have taken a pic.

Nice! Don't know how I missed that. I've got some Jordan training shorts from an outlet that fit a lot like what it sounds you described.

You making me want a pair now. Ill be on the hunt for that markdown for sure. :D

The AJ 2012 had wolfgrey/VOLT-white!
Volt is like a greenish/ neon yellow
while electric green is neon green.

But indeed I don't understand why people are still saying Volts now, despite it is much greener
than volt.

Is just me or do Nike/Jordan shorts fit terribly? I have 38 inch waist and I'm 6 feet. To get shorts that actually fit me they have to be so long that they're more 3/4 than shorts. I hate shorts that go below the knees.

That's the way the newer shorts are! Find some of the older shorts and they fit perfect. The new stuff is super long and the older shorts are more proportionate. Now the older tees are bigger and the newer ones are smaller, slimmer fit. So I typically hit ebay up because of the way stuff is sized now.

I cannot find the black/volts anywhere in the Tampa/St. Pete area. anyone have any ideas cause ebay has none either. feel kinda dumb when i slept for these past few weeks on these.:\
