I dont wear shoes without insoles, if I have to do that, I prefer not to have them.. I also don't play ball in these so I'm not sweating it.

I dont normally either, the amount of cushioning you lose is very minimal, the insoles that come with these are paper thin, I could barely notice a difference in softness seriously, just try it is all im saying you might be surprised how they fit and feel. the way they fit me now was worth the minimal cushioning you think your loosing. I almost returned my pair now im happy with them.
