AIR MAX 93 pics/discussion/appreciation

^^ One of the reasons I was never able to cop these is because its one of those shoes where the shape and whatnot have to be exact otherwise it just looks like another shoe altogether. Those are SICK.

I've been a fan of these since early 2000s and never owned a pair lol.

family vibes today in the menthols 💎💙

I think it’s just a matter of time. Nike keeps coming out with new air max lines that’s not really selling. The 2090 is a good example. But when they make good retros, it sells out quick. But I think they’re being careful of not releasing them all at the same time.

It depends, but redrafted air max iiis from last year and huaraches from 2018 sat and went on sale. Air max 1s were recrafted at a time where air max in general was hyped.

I've copped a few pairs of these recently. Got some watermelons, some citrus and blue, and some menthols. Easily one of my favourite retros. I really want a pair of Habaneros

Something You don't see everyday

As a personal rule, I never wash kicks like that. I always start with a toothbrush and soap. The only time I did it was when I washed the upper on my 2000 Concords which was already separated. Usually washing an entire shoe gives unsatisfactory results from what I've seen.

Very very true…noticed paint chipping something fierce on my pair and I don’t wear them all that often.

I've had a quote from SneakerPharmacy for £30 per pair to repaint the midsole. Given the price of paint, and knowing I will probably cock it up, it's a done deal for me, dropping them off this week.

I decided to send my 93's off to a a Sneaker Pharmacy in Manchester to have the midsoles repainted. He's done a fairly decent job. There's a few brush strokes I can see, and a little bit he missed, but they are 90% back to what they were pre-washing machine incident, and 100% better than I could have done. at £30 a pair, it's cheaper than £440 for deadstock

So decided to wear my Watermelons today

Does anyone have a box for the watermelons in a US9/UK8 at all?

I'm looking for a decent photo of the label so I can reproduce one for my spare box.

Thanks in advance
