aye kev.

cats kept asking me if i cop'd this shoe and that shoe...

i was like "man, i havent cop'd a shoe in damn near over two years!"

you right tho, all those shoes that are coming BACK out...we done had it!

[jayz] if you did it? i done it before. you get it? i had it...i got mad at it i dont want it no more[/jayz]

everyone draws their own line
i posted in line one time around 4am at the 14th & U DTLR for the grape 5's
when it was my turn to go in.. my size was sold

next time i waited inline for the first spizikes.. hit DTLR Minn Ave at 3am and copped my size

i hardly buy shoes, but if its something i want i will do the wait
when/if i am blessed with a son and there is something he wants and willing to wait, i will do my best to wait with him because i was once that guy pullingovernighters

but regardless.. do you..

so for the next yeezy release... im "all in" for a "campout"

left my house at 1:15am for dtlr in pg mall. i live in the leesburg area so it took me about an hour to get there. when i got there i was 11th in line and thecops didnt let us wait on mall property so we begged the security guards to at least let us stay in our cars. then one of us came up with the idea of making alist of the first people that were there so nobody comes at 9am and jumps the line. we waited, prayed, hopedm that the list would work and it did. everybodynot on the list were pissed. there was a small riot sort of. 16 people on the list and the last 8 pairs were auctioned off. we had to get police escorted tothe parking lot. now thats my definition of a successful CAMP OUT. btw i got a 9.5 if anyone is interested lol.

Datdude... that statement brought great reflection for me bruh....Why? Cause I just realized my two sons.. Who are perfect by the way ( get straight A'smake the Top Student Athlete for their schools list) ad I can NEVER complain, but with me getting them just about everything none Retail over all these years, they have never known what its like to REALLY want a shoe.

Hopefully when I stop rightfully spoiling them cause their feet will be bigger than mine in the next year.. (yeah..and 11 and 13 Y.O. wearing 10.5 & 11)they will know and appreciate on a different level what it is to want that special something...

I've done Midnight releases and gotten up early...but never a Campout by the true definition....Maybe when I was younger...but then I didn't have thecash like the youngins today seem to have access to. But I'll be damn if there is something I can't get from Calls to my cronies on Campus.. my bunson Campus or what have you... I will have Harm in front of me buckin lines to get what I want!!!

I'm wondering what I would do if somebody tried to "bully" a line I'm standing in. Do you guys really carry it like that? What happens whenyou do it, like what do the folks in line say/do?

This concept interest me.

Most people don't say anything because they don't know who you are. I brody lines too sometimes.

At clubs often, at public events. Sporting events. Concerts.

At the Inaugural Parade, I busted in front of at least 200 folks...

G,

It's quite simple.

You only carry out-of-towners.

Stores employees/DMs know our faces, from being consistent shoppers and dropping paper. They know the "heads" in the area, just due to otherreleases. They'll bump bammas in their faces before I or someone I roll with can't get the product they desire.

When you were down in RIC with me, if you wanted the DMPs, you would have gotten them -- as many as you wanted. "Rockdeep" got his from down here --we walked in, walked out. And, even with "Rockdeep" showing his "other color," he was about 4 hours late and still smooth sailing.
laugh.gif

Point blank -- Nobody wants it. You got the balls to approach me, it ain't no talking -- I'm swinging on you -- and most likely I'll have lil'homies in the line anyway that'll love to make an example. And, I'm at a location where I had a hand in hiring the security, or there is no securityat all, so you already short. Thus, your hypebeast, out-of-town, had to use mapquest, shook tail is paranoid about not getting your shoes, (plus, you assumeI'm a local, and don't know what a phone call on the cell would further do to you), so you say nothing.

Only had to do this twice since 1999. And dudes into sneakers were more thoro then.

These cupcake dudes now, psht. They'll have the ice grill, then go home and talk on-line about what they should havedone...

But with the relationships I've made the past decade, "Rockdeep" can vouch, a dub and lunch will get anything on hold for you. So people neversee me anyway. I'm there after the fact, usually at noon the day of the release, if I haven't already gotten it early.

All this violent talk..... www.violenttalk.com

I'd like to talk about the drunk asian chick with the big hooters and wide mouth I saw at the game last night. I'da got violent with her.

Kev you aint swingin' on nobody man. Stop fakin'.

You do have a point about people not saying anything because they dont know who you are.

Because I know folks typically WONT say anything, I walk up to the front of the line, but it's quite rude, so I keep it to a minimum.

I can't fight though, so if somethin' pops off...

This I CAN NOT believe unless you TOO are pulling this move:

Plus I don't dress like a sneaker head and I don't wear my glasses

So my face reverts to its normal screw face ice grill mode
