Seems like the '06 pair not only had colors that were a bit more saturated but the upper looks closer to being pure black which further highlights and amplifies the contrast stitching. On the upcoming pair the colors seem a bit more dull and the upper also looks like a slightly faded black. The new pair isn't terrible but they aren't worth full retail either imo, especially when when you factor in the shape as well.

Might have to have to call these the stepped on 7s. They are far from pure.

Here is where Im at with these. I never was a fan of the colorway in 2006. But Im a bigger fan of 7s. Compared to the original release these once again do not live up to peoples expectations. I like the new pics honestly. I plan on TRYING to get these. If I miss, I will sleep soundly.

06 shape is not only better but the colors are to. The 22 pair has a weird hue to it looks dusty.

NT, i may be old but my eyes cant be deceiving me that much. PLEASE explain the differences yall are seeing. All I’m seeing is the yellow on the 22s appears darker.

And if my memory serves me correctly, these shoes were always dusty looking unless properly taken care of.

Raw pics for anyone interested. Ngl these have pretty good quality nubuck and the shape looks very OG like! I'm waiting on Cardinals & Raptors but if I have left over money after the Fire Reds(goin for a dbl-trpl up) I might go ahead and get em. They look way better in person.

Something about them looks off...I think it's the shade of yellow they used on the moutains. I could be wrong tho.
