Please elaborate on what you see
Bottom is the 06 pair. Its darker and the colors are darker but more vibrant. The toe shape looks more sleek. Contrast stitching is more golden. I can't call it on the tongue and ankle collar shape, one is laced up tight the other is looser. I do prefer the 06 shape but the 22 shape isn't far off. I feel like it's more akin to the OG after seeing them in-person and not being choked.

The colors are what I was noticing.
After reading your post i do see a difference in the shape/sleekness of the toe.
I’ll say that JB got these pretty good considering it was a retro+ cw back in 06 with no previous hype and no true reason to retro the cw except for is old heads.

Honestly the 2022 shape is real nice. I'm not getting these but for sure gettin Cardinals.

Since the Fire Red 3s got pushed back to September I think I might be in for these again but I dunno. Would rather double up on the Cardinals instead. If I get these I'll only be able to wear them until mid to late November depending on how the weather is here in Michigan later this year. Much to think about.

Yeah this shape is better imho. Reminds me of my 92 playoffs/raptors its a very close shape to the og pairs. Definitely want Cardinals, Playoffs, and the other OG colorways in the new mold.

It doesn't look like this retro has metal lace tips. For the people who owned the 06 pair, did they have regular lace tips too?

Did they finally make the tongue a little taller? On all my 7s the tongue doesn’t come up to the top of the ankle and it bothers me.
