There still haven't been any arrests made in the assault (and, let's be real, attempted murder) of Deandre Harris. They've recently named Daniel Borden a person of interest. Hoping some more progress is made soon.
Something I didn't know until earlier today was another video shared via Twitter that shows a white supremacist with a gun in his hand. Someone could have easily put a bullet in his head too.

Well, he was also mistaken* about the counter-protesters not having a permit. Not sure how that was possible since he was "waiting for all the facts to come out".

yes, it's part of it. the motivation for Isis and white hate groups is the same: maladjusted guy who has no luck with girls and is angry at the world. rather than improve himself he blames others.

I think the initial motivation for joining such groups is the need to belong to a community or a group. Same mentality behind teens joining gangs. The one thing all human beings crave is the need to feel important, loved and to belong. Without a strong support system and community around them at a young age so many kids go down the wrong path, and those kids are exactly who the hate groups target.
