Am I in the wrong? Upset g/fs family on Christmas....

move along bruh|I
not generalizing for all girls with daddy issues but the two exes i had that had daddy issues ended in a trainwreck, just keep chugging along, she'll be fine stripping for a living

sounds about right. girls with daddy issues usually go through their *** stages really quick and fast. once they get used and abused they will come crawling to a captain and if their captain turns out to be abusive they find the captain of last resort which is god

Run away and don't look back.

Regardless of whether you were in the wrong or not, you don't want to deal with a girl that has family that acts like that.  And you definitely don't want to be with a girl who is that affected by what her family is putting in her ear.

After 3 or so months, I'm assuming that you guys weren't that serious.  But let a few years slide by and imagine all the instances that you'd encounter with her family.

Like I said......RUN AWAY.

I would of done the same OP not in a rude manner though but, then again I would of never left my family for a chick I been dating for 3 months family. You called it how it is and she needs to respect that you stood up for your self. If I would of got that text afterwards I would of gladly ignored it and moved on. Smh :{

as long as OP was not sitting in a room, NOT trying to make an attempt to talk to the mom for 2 HOURS, then i really don't have a problem

here is my thing, YOU are the new guy into the family....therefore they are not there to be extra cuddly with you, expect them to be distant, although moms was rude, you cant expect them to welcome you with open arms the first time you meet, on that day your personality is put to the test, you have to show YOUR interest in getting to know THEM....just showing up is not enough, perhaps if you would have told your girl "where is your mom, she wanted me here, lets go sit with her and chat" instead of being some sort of introvert hiding away in the room waiting for her moms to come and worship you for showing up, things might have worked out differently.

one page in and no one said pics? this is madness this must be a new NT all around. im sure someone said it at some point within the next 5 pages but i aint finna look through em to find out

Its all good

better now then later.... I bet they were going to flip on you eventually. Some women like to see just how much they can control. They are not your family so you being there in the first place should be enough for them to pay attention because you are their guess, If she talked loud and you felt the need to defend yourself and call her out its all good cause thats what you wanted to do.

At the end of the day you are with the girl... not her family. If the girl won't back you up then on to the next one. Dudes really meeting parents after 3 months :{ Im sure they messed with you for that reason thinking you were a simp.

:{ Ya'll kill me with the only 3 months comments.

I'll admit we moved fast, but pretty much since week one her mom has been bothering her to have me spend time with her. Her mom isn't all there...

She has told me MANY times her mom is a horrible mom, wouldn't let her mom influence us.... :{

I don't mean it in regards to how quickly you meet her mom. I mean when it's said as if that's really not enough time to get to the point where you two are comfortable in meeting each others folks. That's plenty of time if you're serious about who you're dating.

My dude Cragmatic is about to be all up in Thread About Yambs asking either a) how can he smash is ex again or b) how he feels like he lost his game because he's been on lockdown for 3.5 months. Which one will it be OP?

I'm assuming he is too young to realize that 3 months ain't nothing to be stressing over some woman. Older you get the more you don't let women and their antics either from family or herself bother you. Only reason why I'm so stuck on the 3 months. He got it in got out way before it could get out of hand. I just keep forgetting a lot of you a young and things effect you people more emotionally than you realize. Its easy for me to say at 28 I wouldn't even bother meeting a females parents 3 months in...6 at the lowest in. Maybe if I was 20 21 22 23... I would of jumped at the fact to meet a woman's parents and or stress a 3 month relationship. I totally understand he was just lashing out to get it out his system but it was just ridiculous to me.

bruh 3 months is nothing. definitely not enough time to be spending christmas at your spouse's house.

all ya'll talking about "oh no there a chance you might have lost yambs!!" sound sad. you should never be afraid of a dry stretch if it means having self respect and not letting a woman force steps in the relationship on you.

her family, while they don't have any obligation to be nice to you, showed that they are not the classy bunch of folks. they're too used to craziness obviously because of the mom, and it distorted what they think is acceptable for other people to endure.

you should be glad you got outta that situation, because that relationship was not gonna end well anyway.

once again, there's a cool chick with a chill family out there, so don't let these dudes on here make u cling to this broad just because they have a box floating above a pedestal in their study's.
