American Reunion (also known as American Pie 4) is an upcoming teen comedy film written and directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. Not sure if excited is the word I'd use, but the first three are good movies, and I'm glad they were able to get the entire original cast back for this one. I think it can be good.

First 4 were pretty good. Joints fell off tremendously after that tho.

American Pie 1& 2, 

I wouldn't say excited, if anything it's a reminder of how old I'm getting,

American Pie dropped at the start of my senior year in high school, along with Varsity Blues (technically I was a junior when VB dropped).  So, they definitely hit home with all the shenanigans going on in real life and what was going on in those flicks.
