I love certain video game soundtracks. I have bunch of youtube playlists that involve Castllvania, Samurai Shodown, NBA Live (both the pre 2002 electronica andthe post 2002 hip hop tracks), the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Trilogy, the Halo Trilogy, Super Metroid, various Megamans, Star Fox 64 and Street FighterII.

I agree with you OP, it is a very overlooked form of music but luckily more and more poeple are enjoying the music thanks to fansites, youtube and mp3's.
