@ dudes shook to update like Apple is going to brick your phone. It's fine to OTA update without being a registered developer.

I knew it wouldn't brick my phone, just didn't wanna have to go back to iOS 6 and not be able to restore my backup. Anyway, I just did the OTA update and it worked fine.

Aside from what shoemasta said above, I noticed theres now little circles with the first initial of the sender in group texts.

Not really sure what the reason for it is if the full name is still above the text. And as you can already see, what if 2 people have the same initial?

Updated the 4S to Beta 2 last night and it was still a bit buggy for me, but the lag has definitely decreased. Couldn't handle the lag, so i restored back to 6.1.3.

Keep your jailbreak!!.

I'm running iOS7 now, but only because I had to replace my iPhone, and it came with 6.1.4.

Given the chance, I'd take a jailbroken iphone

It's an accessibility feature, meant for people who are disabled. It's not going to be something your average user will use, or even want to use.

iPhone 5 owners on iOS7? Does it display the 4g/LTE icon, I haven't seen it in any of the screenshots and I want to be aware of when my phones going back down to 3G speeds.

I just ran into a horrible bug. My phone is stuck on the lock screen. Won't slide to unlock. Won't pull down the notification center. Won't pull up the control center. Won;t pull up the camera app. It's as if the touch screen is broke. I've restarted the phone multiple times (power+home for 10 seconds) and that didn't work. I can't try to power down and then power up because I can't slide to power off either . Probably gonna have to restore it.

EDIT: Phone just randomly restarted as I was backing it up and it works again .

How do you put the beta 2 on without a developer account?

find the download file for your device. if you have a verizon phone heres the link

if you have AT&T look online. back up your phone

update to 6.1.4 if you haven't already but do NOT restore your backup. leave the phone as new

shift click the "check for update" button and then just find the ios 7 firmware file and viola

then you can install beta 2 ota right on the phone

but this wasnt the case. i updated to 6.1.4 then to 7 then beta 2

love it so far.

On Beta 2 and it is fire. A lot of potential. I see the shared photo/video stream being huge along with airdrop. Basically a personal Instagram. My whole family we be on iPhones soon and we don't live close so this will be clutch. Can't wait until everyone gets it.

I posted a way to fix and restore any iphone A5/A6 device a few pages back....If you was jailbreak sorry to here it. I was similar with about 8 or so of "other"

Thing is often times especially if you use Pandora, it leaves a lot of cache and memory of everything/songs you have played. Also often times when you d/l a theme or a tweak and erase it through the ui, it still leaves traces of the file. And after while those small traces/left over files eventually build up.

Text messages do the same thing as well as pictures/videos, you tube does it. The phone is just like a cpu (I mean it basically is a cpu) If you were to never defrag your pc, and never completely erase software games programs, it will build up and start taking up a lot of your ram/hd space. Same thing except you notice it more because the phone hd memory is significantly smaller.

beta 2 does has some issues, I was working with it a little while ago. Ill post some of them when I get some free time, but yea beta 2 is a little less buggy then the last iteration.
