I'm sorry to hear about the situation with the quality control on the iPhone 5s.
I feel for those affected. It's happened to me on a couple of occasions.
At the same time, it's situations like this that make me laugh when fanboys put Apple on a pedestal and try to cover up or rationalize when Apple makes mistakes. Apple does trip up in their OS, apps, and hardware just like every other company.

i decided i'm going to go caseless. gonna buy applecare, but if i get a few minor scuffs and whatnot on the phone eventually, i can just cover it with a case at that point anyway and it'll be like the same thing as always having had the case on it. i've never gotten a scratch on the screen on my 4's gorilla glass so that would be the only area to be worried about, but shouldn't be an issue.

What are you guys doing about the adapter issue? Need my car charger and home Bose player back in action asap. Are they still gonna be $40?

Anyone know if the 5 supports T-Mobile's 3G network? I'm on an iPhone 4 and rockin EDGE speeds :x :x :x :x :x. I'm on WiFi most of the time but when I'm out I can't even load my goddamn Instagram feed.

My black 5 came in perfect condition. I got one small spot now on the side, but that was from the case I had on it being too tight and one of the ones that stop at the edge of the phone. Went and grabbed an incipio today until my bumper case and rear shield comes in. Already one on the front so once the rear comes in it will be rocked with only the bumper. The black is too nice to be covered up, but I gotta make sure it is protected at the same time.

One of the major complaints is that it only provides driving directions, leaving walkers, bikers, and public transit users behind. The good news is that Apple didn't leave out these features entirely. In fact, walking directions are still available. To find them, just tap the bent arrow "directions" button in Maps and you'll see your recent destinations. From there, you can toggle between driving, walking, and public transit.

went to the apple store today and they said they won't even have any adapters until October, might just head on over to monoprice.com and find one for much cheaper
I swear i'll never understand why Apple has to keep their releases such a big secret and hold up all the accessory companies from having stuff available ASAP. just praying my phone can hold up until October so I can get a decent looking case, all the Incipio and Otterbox ones I seen in person were awful to me :x. it's either Incase for me or naked

I was thinking of apple care because it would be less in the long run if you take into account that apple gives you a one year warranty on iphones already but I don't know.
