They said it's been being written for the past 5 years, I'll believe it when I see the trailer 
 
Big fan of the series and I'm definitely hyped for the movie...it's just that I don't think the show is going to translate well into a feature film.
 
When I see the release date and a trailer, then I'll get excited.

With such a cleaver subtle nature of many of the jokes, how does that translate into just a 90 minute movie? I guess you buy the movie on DVD and rewatch 8 times?
 
Seriously, they have been saying this for 5 years.  I do believe the script is actually, finally being worked on now.  But we are still a long while from this film ever (if it does) coming out.
