Arrow TV

I don't notice the stunt doubles unless rhe camera shows a shot of their face for more than 2 seconds.

GoGo is the goods. Wish the other girl from BR could've been in the movie too.

That was an awesome mid-season finale. And of course he won't defeat Ra's like that. Only bats would :D

And I guess instead of giving him the title of "detective", he'll just use "son" or "boy" :D

amell's a beast. The parkour training he does to get in shape for the show is crazy.

I was reading up on Caity Lotz (Sara) and was surprised to learn she used to be a backup dancer for music artists and has also done martial arts for years and parkour / free running.

Half of the 1st season was just Amell training shirtless. It would have me re-evaluating life while i was watching 4 episodes in a row getting fat. Dude is a beast - he has some parkour videos on YouTube. Really cool stuff. The Salmon Ladder stuff had me going to the gym and doing pullups like my life depended on it. :o

Anyway, this was a shaky first half of the season but I thought they did a lot of stuff really well. Got the Oliver/Felicity stuff mostly out of the way. Nailed the Arrow/Flash crossover. Sara dying was handled well although the 'investigation' was a little dragged out. The Malcolm/Thea mind-control twist was crazy but worked. Although I wonder if there's a chance Malcolm was lying about controlling Thea (as a way to protect her from Oliver and take the blame) and she's actually going to turn heel and end up fighting Canary at the end of the season. Last ep was just dope all around. Batman Begins re-imagined. The climb, the build up to the fight and the actual fight.

Arrow REALLY knows how to do endings. Normally they start seasons off a little shaky but then it gets REAL around the middle and just rides that momentum til it ends with a bang. Hope this season is similar.

I want to see Amell try out for American Ninja, curious to see how far he could go.

It's Roys time to shine now. Welcome to the Flip Age

Colton Haynes' ARSENAL Will Take Center Stage After The ARROW's "Apparent" Demise

Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim says Colton Haynes' Roy Harper has been underutilized in season three but that all changes in episodes 10, 11, 12. "There’s one scene in episode 11 between [Roy] and [Merlyn] that I think is some of [Colton's] finest work on the show."

"One of the things I was very straight with Colton [Haynes] about is I don’t think we serviced his character quite as much as we would have liked in the first half of [season 3]. I’ll say the stuff that he’s got in episodes 10, 11, and 12, it’s pretty dang gangbusters. There’s one scene in episode 11 between him and John Barrowman that I think is some of his finest work on the show."

Lazarus pit confirmed?

I could see them going a similar route to Under the Red Hood and having Oliver coming back demented. They'll probably address the repercussions of the pit in season 4.

I was thinking Death in the Family. Charlie from that youtube channel said they've been adapting Batman arcs for Arrow. My knowledge too limited to know if its true. I just take his word for it.

That pic is fan made BTW. Amell posted it on his Facebook.

It's a very safe bet the Lazarus Pit is going to be used though.

The whole show Arrow has always seemed to me like it is essentially trying to replicate Batman Begins in TV form, replacing Bruce with Oliver.

Especially recently with the whole Arrow/Oliver identity issue and using Oliver as his "mask" and becoming Arrow... that's a Batman story/character issue.

With that being said, I still enjoy the show. I'm not sure they would've been able to do a good show using the typical comic Green Arrow characterization.

For the most part, Green Arrow has always been the perfect way to give people batman without doing batman. Billionaire playboy by day/ vigilante by night. The difference with Oliver being slightly more light hearted which panders perfectly to the mainstream TV audience. I personally love the fact thatif he has to kill, he will. Either way, with the exception of the CW trying to squeeze romance into the show, this is some of the best super TV I've ever seen.

Still unsure on what the **** happened last episode. So will Ras use the pit to bring Oliver back to life and use him in the League?

That just seems like speculation. Why would he do that?

Well obviously it's speculation, I'm looking for insight into what would happen if they used the "Lazarus Pit". I don't read the comics..

The more likely person would be the guy Oliver lived with in China or ras' daughter.
