Asian Culture Discussion Thread

Idk if I got time for three movies

Wuchi's recommends are music videos. All of them combined is probably less than an hr of content lol

Of all the recommends, godfather I'm least likely to watch. First of all I know the story enough to understand this reference

The godfather movies is just not my flavor bro lol

Over the past couple of years, the Chinese government really did meet their goal of beating the US. They did their best to overtake the US as the world’s biggest @&$ hole

I hate how reliant the entire world is on them for $, otherwise they would’ve been shunned into irrelevance by now

I get that having a movie genre preference is natural.
But aren't you curious enough about cultural touchstones so that you can discuss with your fellow man ?
It's like saying I only like Korean food and I will never try Indian, French, or South American cuisine.
You are actively holding yourself back and limiting your own personal character development.

The US underestimated the greed of the Chinese as the Sick Man of Asia for far too long when there were alternatives for production outside of China for decades.
I remember 10 years ago, economists were saying that the next WW would be against China. Me being a dumb idiot, thought wha? what did China do.
The thing is, they've been brainwashing and taking advantage of their citizens since 1989.

If you really look deeply, the CCP is following in the same footsteps of the Japanese empire prior to WW.

Hell no. What is that?
Has to be hot girls and then good beats and flow.

Edit:
Remembered back in the day the chorus of the song played in stadium on tv when former LA Dodger Chan Ho Park went to mound.
Knew then kpop on the rise.
Learned later the young kid in video grew up to be BigBang G Dragon.

Ahh thanks I was having a hard time finding the videos. What page was it on?

No worries. Checking in for day and just used Search function on upper right corner of browser.
Fyi: when you see quote “whoever name Said ^...”, just hit that up arrow and goes to original post.
