Only been to Chinatown in LA, SF, Alameda (Oakland) and Vancouver. I think SF is the best. Alameda is the most authentic.

Oakland and Vancouver was similar to me, also reminded me of Chinatown here in Honolulu

Forgot about Honolulu, been to that one too. That one reminds me a lot of Vancouver.

Vancouver stood out by having the largest homeless community though

For real Chinatowns are almost wonders. It's amazing you can walk into a neighborhood and literally not know the difference between home and where you're standing.
I've only been to the one in Queens but mind blown

Haven’t been back to NYC in long minute, but Flushing, Queens would definitely be the preferred stop for a Chinatown on the East Coast. Amazed by the development. Was always the choice those of us from TWN.
San Francisco Chinatown is very much the old school OG. Kinda for tourists. Better spots elsewhere in City and outside of City. And Northern CA loses out to Southern CA. San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles and Orange County all better than Bay Area. Not sure on LA Chinatown though. Seems too manufactured.
