Usually once you get more active in GENERAL, you have pretty much graduated from the "sneaker" sections of NT and have "declining" interest in the shoe game.
Granted I still lurk the AJ1 thread every once in awhile, but nah............I don't do "the chase" for major releases anymore.

once I started making real money out of college I got back in. There were so many shoes I wanted growing up but couldn’t get as a kid. Now that I can support myself I feel like I’m owing it back to the kid in me that could only see shoes from a computer screen

Nike sportswear and new tech only. Jordan's died for me in the early 2010s when the retros I bought in the 2000s were being re-retroed and re-re-retroed.
I've been all in on Zoom X and React. Been the only purchases for me as of late. Maybe 4-5 purchases a year for the past 2-3 years.
Been trying to buy more casual wear and formal shoes as of late. It really got old when the only compliments on your fit was from random guys that were mirin' and not the women

I have pretty much everything I need. Chicago 1’s, UNCs, Royals, etc, some nice SB’s, and Boosts (which I wear more often than others). Was heavy into shoes until college, broke and never had a fresh pair. Got a real job after and slowly added to the rack for the last 7 years with some still in the closet. Still check in once in a while but my shoe rack is filled. Got lucky most of the time but none of it is worth stressing for
