There is also a difference between continually posting content from a proudly racist Instagram account vs posting a video for purposes of fostering a discussion.

I agree, but there are enough Asian people voicing that opinion that she felt the need to speak out against it. There is a lot of anti-blackness white supremacy fueled sentiment in the asian community., even before coronavirus. Denying it won't fix the problem. I at least applaud her for being honest about it.

Interesting because I was in that thread and many black people were denouncing the "victim blaming" you speak of. Saying some Asian people are influenced by white supremacy doesn't mean black people aren't unanimously against the violence against the asian community.

I've witnessed this in person, and it was a discussion between an Asian dude and a Brother. The brother was talking about Sisters who date white boys, and the asian dude was talking about chinese women who come to america to find a jewish doctor or lawyer.
I found the whole conversation to be hysterical, because it was really a discussion on misogyny.

It’s really funny that I have made it a point to explicitly state that I condemn violence against Asians and people keep questioning it because I am also explicitly stating that the anti-black sentiment needs to stop.
