I feel like the younger generation won't let these hate crimes fly, but unfortunately punks like to target the older crowd who can't always defend themselves. God protect all generations.

Nobody asking people to be Captain America or telling you to put self in harm’s way.
But scenes like this should never be allowed to be unanswered.
Stop being passive. Be more aware.
Protect ourselves. Nobody is coming to save us.

The problem with this is if you aren’t asking people to be “captain america” as you say, but to be more aware- what does that really even mean??

It looks like the two men seated there are VERY AWARE. Like to the point that their awareness prevented them from doing anything to help that woman.

Their awareness might have made them think “what if that guy has a gun?”

So beyond calling the authorities and maybe helping her up and checking on her after the fact, what would YOU say is the protocol here?

Ideally everyone would help each other in a time of need but that’s unrealistic and a lot of times unsafe.

So again, what exactly are they supposed to do in this situation?

Let’s leave out what the bozo in the video had to say because everyone seems to be able to tell you exactly how they would have handled it in absentia and after the fact.
