Boston is a cool city to visit but I definitely would not live there for a variety of reasons
I'd do it. Get the experience living somewhere new along with the job experience.Got a job offer for a really good company.
Hesitant bc it's I'm Boston though and a lot of reviews don't seem to be positive for poc

Boston is still very white compared to other major cities like LA, Chicago, NYC. There's a relatively small Chinatown but I don't feel like there's a big Asian American "presence" here, at least nothing like LA/NYC. If you look relatively young people will assume you're here to study. Boston does have a Taiwanese-American major right now Michelle Wu though. I enjoy it here, although Boston is a bubble within the state. MA as a whole is red leaning, where Boston is very blue. Your perspective on it will vary a lot depending on where you move from. If I wasn't living in Boston I probably wouldn't be in New England, the whole vibes of New England really isn't my thing. I much prefer NYC over everything.
DM me if you got any questions brother.
I'm struggling looking for a place to stay lmao. The housing market is ridiculous over there right now
