This is my homie’s sister. I can’t even start to imagine how their family is doing. I’ve only met her a handful of times but she was always very warm and caring, as is the entire family.

Just devastating.

That's crazy. Prayers to his family. While i'm not gonna lump this incident into all this anti-asian violence that's been going on for the last 3 years (only because I dont know if this was racially motivated), I think its absolutely sickening how people want to brush off the notion that Asians ( females and elderly mainly ) are being targeted as easy prey in our major US cities.

Plus, domesticating raccoons ain’t it (including ferrets, otters, etc.). That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen since it’s hard to tell when these animals could suddenly snap back to attack you.

Last week I saw 2 other news stories of women being killed by homeless men, think both were in l.a. A nurse was just waiting at a bus stop and a homeless guy hit her and cracked her skull. A furniture store employee was by herself and a homeless guy stabbed her to death in the store.
