dumbfounded fell off so hard. his music is horrible now. not only that but now he's trying to move into korean hip hop cause he couldnt break through in the US and that made his music even worse with his broken korean. compare his old music to now, literally light and day. here's one of my favorite songs/verses from him:

What you guys think? Hollywood is obviously racist and Asians have a real tough time getting any significant and non stereotypical roles but should she have changed her last name? I don't see a problem with it and plenty of actors don't use their real names but I see some people calling her a sell out.

Hollywood isn't a single person. It's a collection of individuals that push certain ideals. So for her to blame Hollywood for it, but then sell out and blatantly try to hide the fact that she's Asian, she's just as much to blame as any other individual in Hollywood. At the same time, you gotta make a living and it's easier to get a job that way.

Good memorial post.
Remember everything during that day, working in SF Bay Area. Worked NYC Market hours and saw everything unfold live in office. Had to haul *** back to BART. Surreal as Finance guys were going back and regular civilians were coming in.
Saw that lady's name as you scroll through the list.
ALL races on that list.

I just went to a festival filled with my own ethnic folks. Here are some observations:

- Homeland folks have very different ways/customs (e.g. how they talk, dress, act). Cultural differences (Vietnamese vs. American) are a real thing.
- I realized that my grasp of my homeland language is very far off. I can understand everything, but can't speak fluently. It was tough to keep up a dialogue.
- The folks my age who have green cards/visas clearly have family money.
- Talking to my homeland folks made me feel 2 ways: happy to embrace my culture + uncomfortable because I realized how bad I was language-wise.
- The lingering thought was: is it better to be fluent in English and nearly useless with my native language or vice versa? This applies to living in America.

The birds were definitely cute too, but I'm not sure I can get serious with one who doesn't speak fluent English. How's she gonna sing with me at a Travis Scott show?
