The magazine photo was the original teaser. Looks like they changed the striped to purple. Not a great look IMO, I liked the tonal look.

I think the purple is only on the medial side. The tonal stripes are still on the outside

I like the overall color but IMO the purple is a but of a hang up. I think they'd have looked errrr with choosing a maroon or navy or even a baby blue or something.
