WOW that is such BS... first in line should get first dibs...must have been created by some democratic socialist...
Interesting 2 ticket raffle style at Atmos..
So for the Asics release, they have a window where they hand out tickets that first tells your spot in line.
So, if you are the 100th person in line, you are the 100th person to draw from a new set of tickets.
Whatever that second ticket is, its your new spot in line (1 out of how many tickets they first gave out)
So this method in theory evens out the playing field. Like the first person in line could draw a high numbered second raffle ticket. Vice versa for the last person in line. (Wonder how well that work work in the states)
Wow. That's pretty interesting. I think it would be a cool statistics problem to figure out the benefits of getting there early opposed to getting there late. I can say from my somewhat decent knowledge of statistics that it would definitely benefit you more to get there early, but I wouldn't know how to set up the problem. Just a shot in the dark, anyone wanna try and work this out?

There were plenty of homeless and non looking sneaker heads at the release
Peep this grandma draw her second ticket
They are doing in-store first and the list filled up yesterday.

It's the year of the GR. Who needs 25th anni collabs.LMAO Honestly, I don't think any Asics releases this year are worth the trouble.
Got the call from bait for the gl3! I signed up for 10 but I saw like 3 10s on the paper, so I told my friend to sign up for the 10.5 and got the call for the 10.5. Same situation happened to me with the mitas. The 10.5 look big to me on my feet compared to 10s. Really want to wear a 10 tho.

Ok so the Monty Hall Problem is a good analogy, but it pertains to switching your decision after you have been given information about one of the choices. You know, switch your answer, it becomes a 2/3 probability, if you keep it, it remains a 1/3 probability. Anyways, in this situation, let's say there are 200 slots. If you are the first person in line, your probability for each number is 1/200. If you're the second in line you're probability for each number would be 1/199, and so on. What changes for this problem is that your N will stay the same but your probability will be different. No matter what place you are in line, you can draw any number from 1 to 200. So you have same range of numbers while your pool of numbers available diminishes. Basically, what I'm saying is that if you're the 200th person in line, your probability that your number will be from 1 to 100 will be less than if you were first in line. I don't know how to work out the problem but if someone can then I would be really interested in how.
Explain this to me
I figured, if you got there early or whenever and were 1 of X your chances are still 1/x
kinda reminds me of the old monty hall problem lol
E campin myself to no avail
could have sworn there was at least 2 places dropping the concepts at 12am but i guess im wrong -_-
