Edger's are fine, depends on what type of haircuts you're trying to do.
Some ever all overs, just get some Wahl Designers or some Wahl Seniors.

Don't come with that many guards though.

Just a 1/16, 1/8, and a 1 1/2.

Which are a .5, 1, and a 1, 1/2

Any longer you need to buy the guards.

Come with a little oil, but you'll need to buy some.

Blade Wash I use Oster Blade Wash.

Keep in mind after you use blade wash you need to oil your clippers!

That's the way his hair grows, you can't force your hair to grow that way fam...
You can get about a 1 on the side and see how it looks.

Had a date, wanted to try something new, etc...

I'ma say this, people need to appreciate their barbers.

If you have a barber who cuts your hair how you like it/love it.

Don't go chair jumping 'cause the type of cut I give you might not get you the same result at another barber.

I'm just saying, don't try to fix it if it ain't broken.

I feel that. i went to this lesbian barber (don't ask me why PLEASE) and stopped going to her and now when i go to my current barber (who is AWESOME) she looks maaaaaaaaaaaaaaad angry

I give my barber props tho and try to send him new clients. I'm sure loyalty is appreciated in any business transaction like that

I am a 19 year old, white male. I have that mild wavy-ness on top, minor curls on the side and back. Due to a medication I'm on, my hair is thinning out a bit, not as wavy or curly anymore. I'm looking to get it shorter, but I don't know what I wanna try out. What kind of cut do you think would look best?

Please post some pics for examples so that I know what you mean.

Money can be an issue too, I mean say I cut your hair and you have like 5 little brothers who look up to you and like the type of haircuts I give you.
They're going to the same person who cuts your hair. Now say you start going some where else, I just lost about $100 dollars.

$12 haircuts, and tips.

If it's thinning out then I'm assuming you want it way shorter.
Why not get a bald fade, with a 1 or 2 on top?

It's not thinning too bad yet, but I'm liking that look! Is that a 1 or a 2 in the pic?

How do you guys feel when we switch up barbers in the same shop because the other guy is better?

Dudes be looking salty. I'm like son, it's business. Cut better and you would have a higher retention rate.

That actually looks kind of cool.  Looks like a conservative, combed to the side mohawk to me.  Except it doesn't go all the way down to his neck.  You'd have to grow your hair out really long, probably 6 months.  You could probably start by shaving it into a regular mohawk.

Looks like a 2?
Anytime you can see a person's scalp, it's shorter than a 3...

Try a 2, if it's too long it has to be either a 1 1/2 or a 1.

Hope you like it fam'!

It's hair, it will grow back if you decide it isn't for you!

Shampoo might not do it, use conditioner.
I use that Oil Sheen stuff after I cut off all their hair and they have that dandruff/flakes.

I'm pretty sure you can use it everyday though...

Trim it down?
Only edgers I know that trim down beards are the Wahl Detailers 'cause they come with guards...

Now, to shave it all off or just to line it up then go with the Andi's Outliner 1 or 2...

I used to comb my hair to the right side a few months ago and when I got a haircut my barber left the left side longer.  It would help so that side doesn't stick up when you push it over.  But your hair is still short so it won't matter until it gets longer.

thanks man
i think ima go with the wahl

Mr. Barber, is tipping $5- $6 too high?  I spend a flat $20 whether I use a card or cash.  It's $5 sometimes because of the $1 card processing fee.  Followup question to that is, is there preferential treatment in quality of work?  I've gone to my barber since Feb 2011, paid the same amount, and I swear he does a better job each time

I feel for you man , Its always hard to work with hairlines like that . I think what you got going on right now works , if its broke don't fix , Also be happy you got all that hair and not worring about how to hide you thinning hairline

I don't have that problem; I have more of a Damon Jones/ five head thing going on. Something about Donald's hairline angers me. It's like his barber zeeks him everytime, and Donald won't stand up for himself.
