Picking out light fixtures now. Chandeliers, and ceiling fans. Should my door knobs and lighting have the same finish as my faucets? I have chrome faucets in the kitchen and bathrooms so should I get a chrome finish for everything else? I'm leaning more towards bronze door knobs and lighting but not sure how cohesive it would all look
Chandeliers doe?
Mixing textures of metals is fine; mixing colors of metals is meh. To me at least.
I wonder what would the cost be in material to make something like this doesn't look to complicated to make.
Just started moving my stuff into the new apartment.
Go for it, and cop the Eames. Dont buy a knockoff, you'll regret it. I recently bought four Eames molded side chairs. I'm currently using 2 of them as dining chairs, and 2 as side chairs.
I am finally all moved in to my new spot, but nowhere near done unpacking.
I did however, have time to get most of my sitting area complete. All I need to do is put up all my art pieces above the couch, place my Sapien bookcase to the left of the couch, and pick up a couple more side chairs, and this room is complete. Moving is no fun at all, but finally getting everything into place is worth it. Just a few more rooms, and we'll be all set!
Anyone have any advice on hiding speaker wires ? Can not hide under the floor boards or drill holes. Seeing the wires run across the wall is irking me

Info on the Rug? Thats dope
A little ashamed to admit it, but the rug is Ikea. I swore off Ikea furnishings after finally getting out of apartment living. I just dont want any furniture I'm going to have to replace in a few years in my new home. But this rug was too good to pass up imo. I'm all for smaller furnishings from Ikea, like rugs, frames, mirrors, small desks/shelving units, but for sofas, dining tables, large shelving units, etc., no thanks. Thats just personal preference.
Downtown Dallas right? My best friend had a unit with those exact specs during the summernew spot.
700 sq feet Downtown. 12th floor...
on the corner of the building.

If you don't mind yeah ikea would be best for that type of bednot sure but i just want something like it
